Analog cameras measure resolution in TVL (TV Lines). HD cameras measure resolution in pixels. HD has a sharper and more detailed image.
IP cameras require cat5e and cat6 cables. IP cameras can produce resolutions from 2MP (1080P) to 4K resolution or higher. IP cameras use Power over Ethernet (PoE), which means you have one power cable going to the camera that supplies the power and video transfer. Analog cameras can produce a max resolution of 2MP (1080P). They also require an independent power supply. Analog cameras require a direct connection to the DVR. TVI cameras also cost less than IP cameras.

Surveillance cameras can be installed in direct sunlight and rain only if they are IP66 rated.
Most of the cameras are made of aluminum housing and have tempered glass, which will not discolour from UV light.
A megapixel is the rating of the total number of pixels that will make up an image captured by a camera.
Remote viewing is free. All you need is an Internet connection and to plug your network cable into your DVR or NVR.
Wireless cameras are not fully wireless. They still require a power supply.
Wireless surveillance systems are not reliable. If you lose your Internet connection your camera will not work. A strong and constant Wi-Fi signal is required.
Batteries can last up to 3.5 to 5 years, depending how active the zone is.
Our alarm systems are equipped with a backup battery — located in the panel. As power returns, the battery is recharged.
Every accessible door and window should be protected.
